Each betrayal begins with trust

Resilience is often defined as "returning to the original form or bouncing back to the original position". Truth is, sometimes things will never be as they used to no matter how hard we try to fix them. It takes years to build up trust and only a single action to shatter it down to a million sharp pieces and even If someone manages to bring them back together, the cracks on  it will always be perceptible.

Many times, people who open themselves up, love and forgive easily are considered tawpies, foolish toddlers who have not experienced pain at all. "Your life is perfect, you're perfect, you don't know how it feels". The thing is, they DO know how it feels. It takes staggering bravery to jump back on your feet after being hit hard but it takes true resilience to endure the blow and still be able to love and forgive those who aimed the strike right at you.

It is by letting our grudges diminish little by little and eventually allowing them to vanish into oblivion that we can truly learn the lessons we are meant to. Forgiving is not forgetting, it is our call not to trip over the same rock twice or more. Do not let hatred and hurt outshine your essence. ∞

-'No matter how hard I want everything to go back as it used to be I know it won't be possible, just know that I forgive you after all'-

"Every passing day, you're closer to being forgotten and even so I wish our friendship had not been killed along with our fate."
